No Kirby vacuum cleaners really live up to the hype?

Do any of you had a new Kirby vacuum cleaner (which representatives say they clean all the way to bare ground) and could compare its performance to store other "brands? I'm not really interested in the value (that I know are terribly expensive), but I want to know if it really clean as advertised. I moved to a new house with some dirty carpet and a friend of mine offered to lend me your vacuuming Built in Kirby carpet shampooer and I want to know how well you clean. Is the shampooer equal to one that could be rented at Wal-Mart or another store? Thanks for the help!

They are a good vacuum, but if a sales person did not test with the white filter and run it over your carpet to show how much more the Kirby collected, could put a filter on your target and still sweep the dirt pick up reguardless of what kind of speech is. Kirby is well maintained and belts are easy enough to change, but I'm sure you can find other brands that are much cheaper to do a good job too. I have four pets, two Great Danes and two dachshuncs Storm and I have a ghost that does a good job. I have also heard that a Dyson vacuum cleaner is too big and I think if my ghost never wears that's what you get .... I like using the rug doctor carpet shampoo, as do a great job and carpets dry quickly. Purchas a doctor could probably carpet online and buy a Dyson and still be ahead cash wise as lava refurbished rug doctor sale on line .... good luck with your choice .....

Dyson vacuum cleaners are good compared to other models?

A vacuum cleaner is supposed to do just that: Clean! And that's what my mom was not Vacuum doing. And it was so heavy! I recently read about Dyson vacuum cleaner at one site (http://www.dysonvaccumcleanerreview.com). Is it really lighter that is in the market. Do not have a bag to have, as in other conventional models?

The link which has published review stated that Dyson vacuum cleaners vacuum cleaners are among the heaviest and most expensive on the market. I am a big believer in most consumer research reports and lists do Dyson, but not as a reliable option. Most of them have a bag and dispose of the vertical models, but some do not. I bought the Eureka Boss Smart Vac Ultra 4870, and is impressive. It was only about $ 125 but is large and easy to use. This is also a Consumer Report "Best Buy", and is in against the gap of 3, 4, 5 percent and even $ 1350 price range! It is heavier than I expected (about 20 pounds), but really kick some ass when is in use. Once again, it's so simple to switch from carpet to hardwood to the hose and has a clip to lock the cord in place so they do not always on the road.
