vacuum cleaners?

I need a straight, bagless vacuum cleaner that will last years and is not too heavy to climb stairs. It should also be able of work in all soil types. There are so many types out there, I do not know what is the best!

Hoover is a personal fav. service technician in the appliance industry I think the most reliable is the old name like Hoover, Kirby-old and as such, but for light wieght and what not ... I think the lightest that goes ruptures, you may want to look into the store you're buying to make sure theres a decent Warranty, and possible a plan for maintaining good
