How do Dyson vacuum cleaners work as compared to normal?

I'm thinking about buying a Dyson DC14 and DC15. How would you rate While you are in a scale of 1-10 in comparison to a normal vacuum. Any problems or do not like about them?

Likes: Barre as hell! The first time I have mine nearly ripped the carpet off the floor. It's really powerful, is light, and not obstructed. Dislikes: It's all plastic and cheap looking. I have not had no problem, but my mother-in-law broke after two weeks and had to drink again. It's expensive as all get out and so are the parties. You have to cut any disadvantages in your carpet, as entangled in empty things others do not. I accidentally ran over the cable and phone sweeper broke in seconds! Be very care! In everything we have to say it's a wonderful phrase that is worth the money. It is up there with Orecks, and Rainbow sweepers. It's definitely a 10 in power and durability of 8 ...
